What is LinkedIn Local? LinkedIn Local events happen across the world, in different cities, with the purpose to bring together the local communities on and off LinkedIn.

To encourage and strengthen the local communities in Jaipur, we organised the first edition of LinkedIn Local Jaipur on Oct 5th, 2019.

With an amazing community support and 4 other Co-hosts, we pulled off LinkedIn Local Jaipur 1.0 after prepping for just 20 days. 60+ people attended the LLJ 1.0 and boosted our motivation 😇

After which we pulled of LinkedIn Local Jaipur 2.0 and 3.0 in Jan and March which included some of the most respectful dignitaries of the community. With over 20 speakers and panelists and an awesome community of 270+ people, LinkedIn Local Jaipur is growing with each passing day.

Now, we are planning for LLJ 4.0 with more determination and a stronger purpose to help Jaipurites tap the potential of local communities.

Being the Digital Marketing and Branding Intern, my day to day responsibilities were -

• Identify marketing strategies and compelling campaigns and partnerships to accelerate revenue growth, drive traffic to our website, and increase sales pipeline, customer acquisition, and retention rates.
• Understanding the Higher Education and Edtech space.
• Identify market opportunities for growth based on customer feedback, market data, and analyst or industry leader input.
• Develop KPI’s and marketing reports for the executive team based on annual marketing objectives that demonstrate contribution to new and add-on revenue goals.
• Identify best practices and opportunities to optimize messaging and content to maximize campaign effectiveness and share key insights with across the organization.
• Improve existing, and identify new channels including paid search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), account-based marketing (ABM), and affiliate marketing etc.
• Lead our social media strategy and expand social media presence by identifying new channels and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Development and Product Marketing teams to provide input to the product roadmap in order to take advantage of market opportunities.

Interning at foreignadmits was my longest internship experience. I served foreignadmits for 10 months. In these months I contributed and build strategies from ground up with end to end implementation.

• Worked on POCs of projects.
• Contributed to the projects of the company by using distributed systems, such as - DataBricks and Koalas.
• Since this was my first in-office internship, I got some really good insights about the environment of a fast pace tech startup.

• As the Marketing Analytics intern I was responsible to analyse marking trends and draw insights from them to prepare a marketing thesis on the topic Digital Marketing. As the part of internship I was also supposed to learn different marketing modules, and apply the learning at the time of pear to pear marketing.
